Del Real Foods Review and GIVEAWAY
***DISCLAIMER: I received these items free of charge from DEL REAL FOODS in return for a honest review.
Recently I found Del Real Foods in my local grocery store. I wanted to give them a try, and I was in love. Their food is all quick and easy to cook just in the microwave. I wrote them a letter and was able to set up this review. What I got was amazing!
My son is in baseball and we have late night games , so being able to grab some thing quick is always my go to! I received their PARTY IN A BOX in the mail. I love Mexican food, and these product taste so Authentic to me. Inside the Party in BOX was five food items, a picnic cooler, and a picnic blanket that rolls up. I am in love with both the blanket as well as the picnic cooler. The minute I saw the insulated Picnic Cooler, I threw it in our out door freezer to get nice and chilled since my son had a game that night!
My son is also going into 3rd grade in the fall, and is in a dual immersion program at school. For family history day at his school, a parent brought in Tamales for all the kids to explain her heritage. My son said that his new favorite Mexican food is Tamales. When he tried one of Del Real Foods chicken Tamales, he asked me if I got the Tamale from the girl in his class. When I mentioned to him they were a product for my blog I had to review, he wanted me to be to let people know, these are eight year old approved.
Below is an idea of what I received :) Minus the small item on the right.
This is what I got instead of the small item in above picture. They are amazing, I am in love! They have the right amount of flavor, and are just as good as my friends grandma use to make. I will definitely be buying these again soon! Even my picky son LOVES these Tamales!
They have a wide
variety of tamales as well.
The Al Pastor Taco kit was very good, but it was a bit to spicy for me. The red salsa you can buy in stores separately. I do love how you get everything in this kit, Salsa, tortillas, and the meat. It takes 10 minute to cook thoroughly, and warm the tortillas,. My opinion, pair this kit with their rice and bean dish.

Our family traditions were first cultivated in a small town in the heart of Mexico. Life of a BASEBALL mom
Do you love baseball?
This past February, my son who is 8 began his first year of baseball. His team is the DODGERS! GO BLUE! For his first year of baseball we decided we should sign him up for Machine Pitch. In Machine Pitch they learn the basics of baseball, while there is no stress of winning or losing. Machine pitch has boys and girls from 6-8 years old. Some are first time players, others have played one or two years before, or have played tee ball.
His team is pretty good, they have some heavy hitters and good fielding. The difference and growth of these boys is amazing. The whole team has improved from catching, to hitting to plays in the field. They really work as a team! They didn't have much practices, but the ones they did have were about 2 hours long. You could tell the boys who practice all the time and also the ones where their parents are always helping them. Some cold not hit a ball to save their life, now they are knocking them out of the park.
With a season of about 15 games, we are now in the tournament with one game left until the championship game. The boys, and especially my son just want to practice all the time. With one tournament game left before the Championship (which on the big field) this is crunch time. The boys are all so excited to be playing games with an actual umpire, and where they keep score!
Being a mom of a boy who loves baseball and who has great potential to be an amazing player is such a great blessing! I could not ask for a better feeling in the world then being his mommy.
